I have started work on a new set of paintings in my ‘Nature’ range that incorporate a hint of surrealism. I always notice that during the barren winter months trees, in particular, take on a rather otherworldly persona. I have picked up on this and melded my view of such into an interpretation of a more familiar environment to give what I hope is a blend of two harmonious realms.
